Abstract

The significance of the formation of digital culture in the modern society is substantiated in the article. It is claimed that professional education, in particular, art, needs modernization, radical renewal of methodological principles of work focused on training specialists of the digital age. The essence of the concept of "digital culture" is determined, the importance of digital culture as one of the main competencies of the future music teacher is substantiated. It is noted that the interdisciplinary approach to the formation of digital culture of a modern music teacher creates conditions for the implementation of knowledge from different scientific fields, promotes mobility and competitiveness of future professionals. It is emphasized that the particular impotance of this problem is determined the transition to distance learning and the introduction of quarantine measures.
